Casella I - Was built at Sätra Boat Yard near Stockholm for Yngve Cassel. She was 10,1 x 2,65m and about 6 tons deplacement and
a high Partial Rig, Yngve sailed her across the Atlantic, out of which came the book "Casellas Atlantsegling" (Casella's Atlantic Cruise)., which for many Nordic yachtsmen then was a
"must" in any well respected ship library.
Having reached USA, Casella was sold to an american, who shortly after sold her to George Wenderoth in Long Island, New York and she is still
owned by the family. She has been on shore since 1992. More information about Casella can be achieved from George's grandson - Michael Wenderoth - on e-mail "charmedLifeNY@aol.com"
